VIEWERS won’t have long to wait to get their teeth into the next series of The Traitors, after the third season launch date was revealed.
The Traitors, presented by Claudia Winkleman, is set to return to the BBC and after two hit seasons it has a huge audience of viewers keen to get their next hit of the drama filled reality show.

Fans have gone wild, as one responded: “squid game on boxing day and traitors first thing in the new year omg.”
Another shared: “What a GREAT way to start the year”
“Oh this is so heaven,” said a third.
A fourth posted: “There is always a big show starting on New Years Day. It would make perfect sense. I hope they change the days it airs though. I do not want to be going Friday-Wednesday waiting again!”
Last month it was revealed that the BBC’s Celebrity Traitors line up had confirmed journalist Robert Peston will join the show.
Robert is expected to join Clare Balding, Tom Daley and Stephen Fry on the hit-show spin-off.
A TV source said: “Poaching Peston for Traitors shows real ingenuity on the BBC’s part.
“And it’s a huge insight into the kind of show Celebrity Traitors will be.
“Casting is still under way, but this won’t be reality stars and the usual faces.
“It will be genuinely interesting names, doing the kind of TV they’re unlikely to enrol in again.
“Peston will be relying on his knowledge of Westminster back-stabbing to bring his A-game to Celebrity Traitors.”
Filming is expected to begin early next year.
A Traitors spokesperson said: “This is a game of lies and deception, so it would be foolhardy for any Faithful to speculate before it begins.”
The US spin off of The Traitors has also confirmed its third season, with actor Alan Cumming returning to host the series.
The concept has proved so successful that Australia has had its own version with two seasons, and Ireland is set to have its own version too.
